Be very careful about the music that they hear, the movies that they see and the adult conversations that they witness.  They are listening and watching all the time---don’t rob them of their innocence.

  1. School Tips!  Don’t let your child be late for school---more than six absences or tardies can get you in trouble.  Set their clothes out the night before.  Wake them up to give them plenty of time to eat.  Rushing in the morning will make them anxious during school.

  1. Divorce and death are very scary things for children to experience.  If they are experiencing divorce or death, they need help to know that it isn’t their fault and that they will be taken care of.  Children need a good counselor to make it through these difficult events.

  1. Chores and allowances are very good for children.  It helps them to learn the lessons of working and saving money for things they want and need.

  1. Please do not smoke around children.  Second-hand smoke can cause breathing problems like asthma and later contribute to illnesses such as cancer.

  1. Go on dates!  Your children need to know that their parents love each other.  Go out and have some fun without your children !!!!  J
