Meet your 2013-14 PTA Officers:
Tay Harkless, President, shall coordinate the work of officers and committees of the association in order that the purpose may be promoted and shall be the official representative of the PTA at functions of the Kentucky and District PTAs.
Katie Campbell, 1st Vice President, shall serve as Membership chair, perform the duties of the president in the absence of that office, and perform such other duties as my be prescribed.
Naquashir Williams, 2nd Vice President, shall server as Volunteer chair, perform the duties of the president in the absence of the 1st Vice, and perform such other duties as may be prescribed.
Maria Diaz, Secretary, shall record the minutes of all meetings of the PTA. maintain a current copy of the bylaws and membership list, and perform such other duties as may be prescribed.
Rolonda Woolfork, Treasruer, shall be responsible for the maintenance of all accounts and records, including a full and accurate account of receipts and expenditures in accordance to the budget, and present financial statement at all PTA meetings and other times when requested.
The Executive Committee and Board of Directors will meet only as needed. The Executive Committee consists of the officers and principal or his/her designee. The Board consist of officers, the principal or his/her designee, and all committee chairs. The Board acts between general membership meetings and may only act within the authority granted by the bylaws. These meetings are open to the public. General Membership are listed on the calendar on this page. The general membership is the governing body of the PTA. Only at general meetings can we elect officers, approve budget, and approve or change bylaws. Membership in the PTA is for all who want to join. The structure of the PTA is such that every member has a voice through a representative process.
